Thing 13
Wow, I really found a conference session that I was very excited about. The whole idea of Web 2.0 has intrigued me, but also had scared me to death. There is just so much out there to consider. How can anyone keep up? Or how can you make a decision as to what to try?
Well, I found the answer. I listened to “Leading the Change
Teaching Web 2.0 – Everything you need in one place”
In this conference session Wendy Drexler describes what she did in her school to help others understand Web 2.0 tools.
I have always been a BIG fan of Wikis and she created a wiki that is open to others for additions to her initial list of Web 2.0 tools. They are listed, described and reviewed. So you can get a really good idea what they are about or if it is the type of tool you need or want to try. I took a closer look at her wiki and I have now added it to my list of favorite wikis. I definitely will use it as a resource in school this coming year, and I will also share it with my teachers.
Her info is below if you want to follow her.
